People often ask us why we’re called Arcrate. Well… Back in 2009 at the start of our journey, we wanted to choose a name with meaning. When researchers at the Arecibo Radio Telescope in Costa Rica discovered the first galaxy without stars and named it Arcrate, we felt an affinity. Like the Arcrate galaxy, we like challenging the status quo.
In a world of “star” fund managers and marketing departments promoting faces over facts, we wanted to build a company that worked differently. We wanted to build client portfolios based on solid evidence without needing to use expensive funds run by the so-called “star” fund managers. Yet another reason why a galaxy without stars felt like the right name for us.
We always put our clients’ interests at the forefront, delivering strategies that are tailor-made to achieve their goals.
We aim to do what’s right. Not what’s easy.
Our goal is to meet the long-term investment objectives of our clients, setting in place a stable and strong approach for the future.
We welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively and innovatively with clients and partners.
